Joining opens 1 October 2026 and closes 31 December 2026. Once all your documents are verified and you have passed our online Child Safety Check, you are invited to an interview, face to face or online. It's free to join, with no obligation.

Students & anyone new to babysitting

No formal experience yet? Register as Level 1 (Entry). You'll still be fairly paid — you receive R40.50/hour, 100% yours — while you build your track record and references.

Experienced caregivers

Years of childcare experience, First Aid/CPR training, or overnight/special-needs experience earns you a higher rate band — up to R136/hour for admin-qualified Special Needs care, 100% yours.

Anyone with patience & love for children

What matters most is that you're reliable, trustworthy, and genuinely good with kids. We verify your identity and background so families can trust you from day one.

Every babysitter completes identity verification (Smile ID) before receiving bookings, and every booking pays at or above the National Minimum Wage (R30.23/hour, effective 1 March 2026) — never negotiated down. Registration takes about 10 minutes: your personal details first, then (after you verify your email) your ID or passport/work permit, selfie verification, and supporting documents on your babysitter dashboard. Foreign nationals select "Passport + work permit" on that step and provide their passport number, permit type, and permit number/expiry.

Forms you will need

Download, print and fill in by hand. The police clearance form is also available at your police station.
