A note from our founder
I am a mom of two, and an aunt to more than fifteen children of all ages. Children have always filled my life, and so has the question of how families make it work. Who looks after the little ones when a parent has to work, study or simply breathe for a few hours? And how does the person caring for them earn a living that is honest and fair?
My background is in community development and entrepreneurship. Again and again I have seen that people don't lack ability. What they lack is opportunity. So I started Elite Traders Lounge with one simple aim: to empower as many people as possible to take their future into their own hands.
We see people as solution holders
Every babysitter on our platform is an independent entrepreneur. They choose when they work, they grow their own experience, and they take charge of their own growth, their situation and their environment. We believe in flexibility and ownership. In a country where resources are limited, entrepreneurship is one of the most powerful ways forward, and it starts with believing you are part of the solution.

Fair for families, fair for babysitters
Families deserve safe, verified childcare that doesn't break the bank. Babysitters deserve fair pay. That is why every booking pays at or above South Africa's National Minimum Wage, and why babysitters keep 100% of their rate.
